Cisco is good if your budget can swing it. I would assume that since you are only getting a fractional T1, because there is not enough demand for a full one, not a lot of people on this site, and probably because of budget limitations.
If you can't swing a full Cisco router, you can always set up a win2k or a linux box to do your routing, the latter one preffered, but it depends on your experience with both.
Some extra hardware might be nessesary if you want to use the linux box.

If this is a small business you can also get an oldie but a goody from some computer shop, like a cisco 2400/2500 series.

The Cisco 1600 is absolutely appropriate. I'm not sure if Cisco has discontinuted it or not (it doesn't show in the product list unless you really dig), but it is a small sized router, and it can handle a full T1 without any trouble.
The 1600 was the router that Genuity/Level 3 Communication put in with the T1 where I used to work.
The 805 may be a little small, but if the FT1 is 512kbps or less, that might be sufficient.
