Can the feed be output as "application/rss+xml" instead of "text/rss" this would allow firefox users to add the feed as a live bookmark and should work perfectly with other RSS readers too.

Also adding this line...
<link rel="alternate" title="SFDC" href="http://www.security-forums.com/forum/rdf.php" TYPE="application/rss+xml">

To the front page of the site, under the other <link> tags would be nice too.

See slashdot or theregister for examples of RSS being setup this way.

If you are using firefox, you can see why this is useful by clicking the orange RSS button which appears on these sites and "subscribing" to it, what it provides is a bookmark which is auto-updated based on the feed.

I have these bookmarks in my personal toolbar folder so I can get an updated drop-down list of new items, this would be really good to have on SFDC too and requires minimal changes.

Thanks in advance.

This header has now been added, apologies for the delay there was a slight error in the feed. Although the feed worked perfectly the 'live' bookmarks didn't work in firefox until this was fixed.

Live bookmarks now work and the RSS orange button now appears as suggested

Please note that we have fixed the bug where the register link remains in the RHS links even when logged on.

Also notice that we have added a small RSS button to the RHS links above to make it much easier for you to locate. It's the small orange square on the right side of the site up top there... Smile
