Hi all,

I have some remote cctv setup via a router -> internet.

We would like to create a secure connection to this via https on our own root server.

The idea was to create the https login area with a 2 tier password system using username password followed by a drop down letters/numbers pattern system (i.e. online banking). Once they have got passed this, the system would then divert the user to the router ip address of the remote cctv camera system. The routers would have a rule setup whereby it will only allow the access from the https ip address.

Initial thoughts would suggest this being the route I would like to take, but I thought I should better get some ideas from the experts first before proceeding.

Thanks in advance

Damon
