Hi All

Currently (10 Feb 2008), Intel has released 5 Core-2-Quad (Quad Core) Processors with 3 in 45nm and 2 in 65nm Technology.

As for AMD, it has released 2 (65nm Technology) AMD Phenom Processors.

More are coming? But when it will be official released?

-Thanks

I suspect AMD are watching this thread and hoping someone has the answer, because at the moment they don't seem to know either....

Quad Core Processors are not much equipped than Core 2 Duos. they have 2 more cores, thats it. L1, L2 and FSBs are almost identical. Quad cores have been released prices ranging from $200- $350. So I Would say one should go for more FSBs, more L1 and L2 Cache, even though this could be a Core 2 Duo.
