I was playing with drivecrypt plus pack a few years back and I encrypted a system partition and used bootauth. I didn't realise I'd need access to any of the data so I didn't make a recovery disk. I know my username and password ok and I can start the boot process but because XP was installed on a different system I get a stop BSOD. I've tried using vmware to boot it but no luck.

Basically I can decrypt the data but then I can't access it. Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I could try? I'm thinking my only option is to get a board with a similar IDE controller but I really don't want to have to do that.

Any suggestions? Smile
