I thought that I can use PKCS7_sign to generate signature using SHA-256 hash algorithm but I went through its implementation. SHA-1 is hard-coded in its implementation so I cannot apply any other hash algorithm by registering it externally.

Please let me know if you have any other workaround for this problem.
