Hi,

Will Malwarebytes, (The full paid for version that runs all the time), happily co-exist with AVG free on a computer?

Regards,

Neil Harland

malwarebytes apparently does have co-existence problems with AVG. you might want to look here for better info than you'll receive on this forum...

Hi Moondoggie,

Thanks for the tip. I will add this as an exception.

I don't know is there something wrong with my AVG free or smthg, but when i try to use some other security software with it, computer goes very slow. In my eyes, AVG free isn't very trustable also.

As a general rule, running more than one active security product for a given role on the same machine is a bad idea. So two AV scanners, or two anti-spyware products are likely to get confused about each other.

Two firewalls might be happy, especially if one is the built in Windows firewall as a third party one can be written to co-exist nicely with that if needed.

I use Malwarebytes with Avira, it works fine, but you have to install Malwarebytes AFTER AVG

I run both full versions of malwarebytes and I've experienced no problems.
