Hi Guys

I am trying to change sounds scheme in Windows 7 but experiencing difficulties as follows.

I right click desktop then click on personalize. Interface appears and at the very bottom there are four options - Desktop Background / Windows Color / Sounds and Screen Saver.

When you click on any of these options, they activate allowing you to change the scheme. The problem is that they all work except Sounds. Single or Double Click and nothing happens.
Because of this I am unable to alter/change my sound scheme.

Can anyone help/advise why this option does not function and a way of getting it up and running

Thanks for your help. Any further details required can be forwarded in return
