Im configuring a policy to change a registry setting on some machines to hkey_current_user reg key; but the policy is not able to change the setting. the users are domainusers so they do not have permission to modify the registry. So i placed the settings to run under the computer configuration & selected path hkey_current_user(hku\.defualt). I can verify that the policy is being applied. but the registry setting doesn't get changed. the same policy modified for other keys work. any ideas?
