Hi all,

I want to migrate our server 2003 to 2008. but i am getting error. when I am trying to raise server 2003 domain functional level then I am getting error (The functional level could not be raised. the error is the directory service is busy). we have only single server but some time before I have just test one server in my network and its no more in my network. I have checked Active directory sites and services there is one more server which i have install just for test but this server no more.. when I am try to delete it hare. I am not able to delete it. I have tried by metadata cleanup but unable to connect to server.....

please help me i want to migrate my server and without raise function level its not possible otherwise give me any other way by this i can migrate our server

Thanks
