I have a server that has a ISCI connected drive. If i try to do a migration on a virtual machine to this drive the drive almost becomes exclusive to this process and all my other virtual machines running on this drive are affected until the migration is complete.............any ideas ?

Server is maxed at 144GB of ram.

Don't worry you've answered my question - you're using the Windows Hyper-V to host the virtual machines.

Unfortunately I've not got any experience with Windows in that role as I use VMware. Sorry.

I found this link that may be the solution to my problem, if you are having the same issue try it:

http://blogs.technet.com/b/yongrhee/archive/2011/05/22/list-of-hyper-v-windows-server-2008-r2-rtm-hotfixes.aspx

I am hoping that 974909 is the solution, will test tonight and post results.
