Got a customer who would like to transfer some old MAC LCIII files ( not sure of the exact file format) to a PC. Is there an easy way to get the files from the hard drive onto removable media (floppies) so that a PC can read the files?

Thanks in advance.

can you hook up a usb drive of some sort? like a burner or external hard drive? or if you're running 10.3 or higher you can just put the files right to the pc hard drive from the mac.

Thanks for the reply.

The MAC is really ancient so it may not be possible to run with your suggestion. Sorry I don't know what version of MACOS it is using.

Are there any other ways to do it if the method you've suggested won't work?

Thanks in advance.

well, if they are files that have a non-platform specific format then you can put them on a DOS formatted floppy and transfer them over assuming they're small enough to put on a floppy. otherwise if you have a zip drive you can hook up to the parallel port that would be a way to get the data.
