    ----
We have one office in one city and other office in the other city. Lets call them Site1 and Site2. Windows 2003 AD and Exchange 2003 is installed at Site1.

Our site-to-site is working between site1 and site2. Now we want to create child domain at site2. My question is would we be able to create user mailbox as well in site2 without installing exchange server? I mean is there any thing we have to do at site2 in order to use exchange server installed at site1?

Many thanks for any help!

Sounds interesting. Can I ask why you're trying to install a new domain on your second site? Why not roll out your existing one and server the e-mail from site 1 or even add a local exchange server?

In my experience there isn't often a need for multiple domains within one company just because of geographical locations. Correct use of sites and OUs will cover most eventualities unless it is password policy related (though AD 2008 resolves this too I'm told). Smile
