Author: vjy, Posted: Mon May 09, 2011 1:11 pm Post subject: Desktop background disabled in windows xp ---- My desktop background (wall paper) has been disabled (I cannot select anything, but the color) and I am using windows xp professional edition.
I checked the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system and did not see anything related with the wallpaper.
Any help in restoring this would be appreciated. Thanks.

I did scan with Malwarebytes, had couple of issues and they were deleted.
