I set up a workgroup and assigned computers using a mac filter in the router....all the PCS have a DHCP lease time....will these comps drop the connection after this expires.

I have the router dhcp time set to forever as well

Any help would be great

No, your PCs will not drop the connection when the lease expires. There is a built-in renewal process, where the PCs will attempt to renew the lease prior to expiration.

The clients (your PCs) will first attempt a renewal once 50% of the lease time has expired, then again at 87.5%.
