Hey All,

My organization is using an older server with multiple PCI Modems to act as a fax server (incoming faxes only). I've installed the fax services and the modems are all operational. I have configured the fax services to store incoming faxes to each modem to a sub-folder under the inbox directory (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax\Inbox\).

The settings seem to be fine but what I'm not following is the actual printer that is created and shared under Printer & Faxes. There is only one local fax printer and thorugh its properties, it can only monitor one modem at a time through a pull-down list. Right-clicking in the Printer & Faxes window doesn't give me the option to install another printer and as far as I can tell you can only install one. My question is do I need a shared fax printer for each modem (fax line/number) in the PC? If not, how would I configure this?

Thanks,

Roger Ali
