Hello.

Could You recommend a paper/site/tutorial which would help me learn UNIX sockets in C? Yes, I have searched Google, and found a few sites, but I ask You, hoping You have read, used, written or came across one You found best.

Thanks.

Thats the one I learned from. Its an excellent guide. I recommend you print it off for reference, and keep a local copy for code copy & pasting, also.

Beej's guide is by far the best and most simple guide to learn sockets from. I think we all learned socket coding from it Smile

R. Stevens' "Unix Network Programming: Volume 1" is also a must on every bookshelf.

A recommended buy for whenever you have the cash.

Aye.

Don't forget to read his guide on IPC (Internal Process Communication)!
