I'm currently using a server side program built with c++ and would like to create a page expired page when back is pressed, any ideas?

i know php sort of automatically(?) do this but is this possible with c++?

Page Expired error messages occur when an end-user submits POST data and you press the 'Back'-button.

As far as I know this is a browser-thing and cannot be forced from the web-server's side.

If you want this for normal pages, I think one should be able to force this by making all the links make POST in stead of the usual GET requests (which could be accomplished with Javascript).

Which brings me to the question, why and when do you want to do this? It could be you mean a different kind of Page Expired message?

hm.. i am using a post method, but don't get a page expired page when back is pressed.

i just want an ordinary page expired page.
