I just downloaded and installed webmin, probably one of the best things out there for people who run servers on their linux boxes. It took me a little while to figure out how to play with it and change the correct settings. My question is does anyone have any good tutorials on how to use it for Apache?? I checked their site and couldn't find anything worth reading.

Umm why not just vi the /etc/http/http.conf files? its easier and funner Smile But Off hand no I dont.. I dont like webhole^h^h^h^hmin. Why not just ssh to the box to edit the config files. and have it give out a loud hoot if a server dies? (you know echo "\b" ??)

I love Webmin, it's great for doing simple things.

I don't think it really needs instructions though, if you want to learn more about it look for the help files that come with the apache module, on the webmin site or webmin online help.

Webadmin can be very dangerous if you don't really understand linux and the various configurations/services like Apache and the config files togehter. There's no undo button. I use it, but not for Apache, I do that by cmd line. I also tend to comment out lines rather than delete them. Just some thoughts.
