just found a virus on one of my computers and they are hooked through a router. my other computer doesnt have a virus scanner, so i was wondering where i could get a free trustworthy scanner fior a little while till i can spend the money on a good one.
any help is appreciated. thanks

I recommend you download the free

Avast or
AntiVir or
AVG antivirus

Products from all three vendors received the Virus Bulletin's VB100% award and certification for virus detection from ICSA Labs.

Never install more than one antivirus scanner or firewall on your system! Several together can give you problems and decrease the reliability of it seriously!

I will recommend you AVG antivirus, it help me a lot...

AVG is really good I can say. You can also try avast and/or Comodo
