Hey all, I would like to know what are some of the things I need to look for when moving a Nagios. We currently have Nagios 1.2, running on a Fedora Core 1 box, which I would like to move to a new box running Knoppix 5.0, and a clean install of Nagios 2.5.

I have not done much work with this and dint want to mess up any important files in the process. Thanks in advance for any help.

you might be better off recompling from source and mimicing your current nagios setup (nagios user account and nagios command account) then just copy over the conf files and see what happens.

read this, it might help.

out of curiosity, why put it on a knopp?
