Hello,

I have been asked to make some PDF forms that our Employees can insert information into and then print and save the form under a new name. HOw can this be done because under word they are moving things around and then saving their changes to the orginal form.

Thanks
James

Use a PDF creation tool such as Foxit or Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro to create the forms you need.

alternatively maybe use Excel - unlock the cells you want them to enter data into and then protect the worksheet. Now they can't move stuff around. Make sure you get the page setup etc exactly right before you protect it. Save it as a template in a folder the users all have read-only access to (ideally your central workgroup templates folder). When they double-click the file (or use file> new if it is templates) they get a new workbook and can't bork up the original.
I would tend to highlight the cells to be filled in using a pastel colour to make them show up.
Excel also gives you options to validate data entry in a cell, check everything is filled in etc.
