We are a large ISP with more than half million broadband users. We use DHCP gateways to provide IP to our broadband users.

One of the challenge we face is of spam control, since many of our users are home users who may be having infecated PCs. There are instances when our subnets get listed by anti spam data base and we have to reshuffle our subnets

Wanted to know what other ISPs do to control spam. A spam protection at our boundary to other ISPs is being considered but with the kind of traffic which is flowing out of our network, we find that vendor's do not have solutions.

There has to be a distibuted approach . Just curious to know ,what other ISPs do to overcome such situation

regards
