I am a linux newb, out of 10 I would rate myself as maybe 2, I am also running debian 3.0, and i apt-got installed kde and it seemed to work fine, everything is running except that I can't do anything SSl, is there like a module that I can download and install that would give me SSL, beacuse i can't check my mail and it really sucks, so if anyone can please point me to a good document on how to do it or a file, it would be great. Thanks in advance.

Er that probably means your e-mail server don't support SSL.

Untick the "check mail securely" option or whatever it is in your e-mail client.

If you are using Mozilla, you might be missing Mozilla's PSM

Check here for Debian

Get this RPM for RH 8.0

For Konqueror users, read this FAQ.
