I'm trying to setup a second external ftp site on the same Windows 2000 Server. The first FTP site works. I can't ping the second IP address. These are both Public ip addresses. I have placed the new public ip address in the DNS table with AT&T. What am I missing?

is it just timing out or is there no reply?

is there a firewall or local settings that might be preventing the ping reply?

It's timing out. I thought it was a firewall problem maybe it still is, not sure what the entry should be. Using Sonicwall added my second IP address using the wizard. Setup with a public service/ftp/ip address. The destination I put lan.
