I am facing very peculiar problem on Windows XP SP3. When
"CryptGetMessageCertificates" CryptoAPI gets failed it corrupts
context-handle (provider-handle), I cannot use the same provider handle to
release the context after making unsuccessful call to
"CryptGetMessageCertificates", its says Invalid Parameter specified…(87).

On Windows XP SP2 I don’t see this problem. After making unsuccessful to
“CryptGetMessageCertificates”, I could release the context using the same
provider-handle.

It looks like bug in “CryptGetMessageCertificates” CryptoAPI on Windows XP
SP3.
