anyone know if i can use pfsense vpn and integrate it will active directory accounts? my goal is to let users use their AD username and password to authenticate.

Should work as pfsense supports RADIUS. So you can have a RADIUS server forward autentication request to the AD or use IAS for Microsoft own RADIUS server.
